Close to Pehi's bluff there is a beautiful area of alpine marshland - sounds unlikely I know - the unexpected is just around the corner on Ruapehu!
I am planning on taking down a reference book to do some investigating of what the plants actually are in the area.
it would be great if anyone else wanted to come along with me.
This will be a side trip from the climbing, so spending time with the wider group in the morning, heading for the side trip after lunch.

Rock climbing at Pehi's Bluff.
Experienced rock climbers will set up top ropes so kids over ten (with a parent) are welcome to come along.
The A-frame will be open to all Club Members and guests so book (using the booking system) in early if you want to get up to other activities.
