Tramping - Trips and Courses

Hi,

I’m planning my third trip down to the Nelson Lakes area this Christmas brake and would like to invite any other trampers who like mountain passes and alpine lakes to join me. My intentions are as follows:

Day 1: Nelson Shuttle to St Anaud Carpark, up to Bushline Line Hut and across Robert ridge to Angelus Hut or camp site.
Day 2: Across Mt Cedric to Sabine Hut.
Day 3: Sabine Hut to Blue Lake Hut.
Day 4: Across Waiau Pass to Thompson Lake camp site.
Day 5: Across Thompson & D’Urville Pass’s to East Matakitaki river camp site.
Day 6: Across Davids Pass to George Lion Hut.
Day 7: Rest day
Day 8: Across Moss Pass to West Sabine Hut.
Day 9: Across Travers Pass to Upper Travers Hut.
Day 10: To Lakehead Hut.
Day 11: To St Anaud visitor center and Shuttle bus to Nelson.
