Waitakere Hut To Piha and return 7 Aug 15

Have you been to the Waitakere hut? Here is your chance! We'll meet at the Waitakere hut at 9:30 am Sunday morning for a 13 km round trip walk, 4-5 hours to Piha and back. The plan is to follow the Centennial Track and Piha Valley track to Piha, have some lunch at the cafe, and then return via the Maungaroa Ridge Track (some spectacular views) and the Quarry track back to the hut. The track is in good nick, so running shoes or boots will do. Bring a raincoat! And some money if you want to buy a Flat White. Here is the map:
