Indoor rock Climbing at the Mount Wellington Extreme Edge.
Indoor climbing continues on Monday and Wednesday evenings at Extreme Edge Mt Wellington. Starting from 6pm.
In good weather the Wednesday session is sometimes split between the indoor wall and the quarry at Auckland Grammar School. Contact Jackie for confirmation.
Short notice trips are notified to members within the existing climbing group (for safety reasons) To be invited on one of these trips, please go along to a session of Climbing at Extreme Edge from 6 pm on a Monday or Wednesday evening.

Club Summer Camp 2019/2020
26th December 2019 – 3rd January 2020
Oparau, near Kawhia
2 ½ hours drive from Auckland, close to black-sand beaches, Kawhia’s thermal hot-water-beach, kayaking on the river and Kawhia harbour, mountain biking at Pirongia, child-friendly short bush walks and glow worms, drive to explore caves, waterfalls, iron-sand works and fossil hunting, longer tramping possibilities in the area too. This will be a cosy campsite, bordered by a slow moving river. The campsite is directly behind the Oparau Hall and includes use of the hall (minus amenities) and is 3 minutes’ drive from the Oparau Roadhouse general store. Cost per night: adult members $12, non member adults $20, under 18s free.
