2015 Work Parties - Dates for your Diaries The dates for the 2015 work parties are: 21-22 February 7-8 March we look forward to seeing lots of happy helpers to assist with general maintenance tasks. Further information and car-pooling details to follow. Remember - this year if you help in one of these work parties your season bunk pass is at last year's rate. ANZAC Weekend at the A-Frame Hi All, I am going to be opening the A-FRAME at ANZAC weekend. Lots of the climbing crew will be in Australia, so I need to have some fun and excitement to rival their trip! I'm thinking of more tramping, with options being: Tongariro Crossing, Ngauruhoe or Ruapehu summits, walking "the goat" route along the round the mountain track from Whakapapa to Turoa. Club Night - earlier 7.30 start in September The club meeting time will be at 7.30 from September, this is after discussion with club members, with multiple comments relating to the late ending of the meeting resulting in a night late for members with further to travel (on a "school night"). We will therefore trial the earlier time and look forward to feedback from members to which they prefer. Please mention the new time to other members to ensure we all get there ontime! 6 years ago

Easter Fri 3 Apr - Mon 4 Apr - Trad Rock Climbing at Mangetepopo with Sharon and Matt Trad rock climbing at Mangatepopo. Ideal for experienced rock climbers who want to try their hand at trad (i.e. non-bolted routes). Everyone is welcome to use the lodge over the weekend for other adventures too.
