Meeting place Army Bay carpark,the end of Whangaparaoa Road ,at 10.30am. (if coming by car)
Most people will catch the 9.30 am Ferry from pier 4 in Quay street and return on the 1.30 pm Ferry from Gulf Harbour.A Ferry Bus will meet both boats and will transport everyone to the Shakespear Regional Park. Gold Cards can be used on both the Ferry and the Bus.
We have the option of two walks ,one through Waterfall Gully and up to the lookout and the other a more gentle option involving birdwatching and botanising through the replanted wetland and the beach.
