Mt. Ruapehu Ski Huts (National Park)
ASC has two ski huts on Mt Ruapehu. The club first constructed the smaller Ruapehu Hut on a prominent ridge overlooking the Top of the Bruce in 1950 with extensions added in 1956, 1962 and 1976. The original hut slept 12 people in a single room. The modern hut sleeps 20 and has full modern facilities including hot showers and electric heating. The Ruapehu Hut is used to accommodate the club's Mountain craft courses and to accommodate the additional demand during organised club activity weekends including ski instruction, mountain craft instruction, sports weekends and social activities.

Waitakere Hut (Auckland)
The Waitakere Hut is regularly used as a base for weekend tramping in the Waitakere ranges, bushcraft and search and rescue training courses and as a venue for a variety of club social functions. Alpine Sports Club often rents the hut for weekends to approved groups. A number of local schools use the hut for outdoor programs such as the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme.
